Undead Labs Unveils New Trailer and Logo for State of Decay 3

Undead Labs, now an Xbox-owned studio, has revealed a new trailer for State of Decay 3 at the June 2024 Xbox Games Showcase. The trailer showcases a desolate world filled with zombies and supernatural elements, marking a departure from the more realistic tone of previous titles in the franchise. In addition to the trailer, Undead Labs has also unveiled a new logo, designed by branding company 51 Eggs, which features a skeleton key to represent the franchise’s zombie theme. Undead Labs was founded in 2009 and has since partnered with Microsoft to release State of Decay in 2013 and State of Decay 2 in 2018. Shortly after the release of State of Decay 2, Undead Labs was acquired by Microsoft. The studio’s focus has been solely on developing State of Decay 3 since 2020, with the recent trailer marking the latest update on the game’s progress.
