Wagamama Launches New Brunch Menu with Asian-Inspired Flavors

Wagamama, a beloved UK restaurant chain known for its Asian-inspired cuisine, is introducing a tantalizing new brunch menu. Starting Wednesday, July 17, 22 locations across London, North, and South will serve this exciting menu from 8:30am to 11:30am. The brunch menu blends classic Wagamama flavors with breakfast staples, offering a unique and innovative dining experience.

Highlights of the new menu include the chicken katsu waffle, a delectable combination of crispy katsu chicken atop a golden-brown waffle. Customers can personalize their waffles with either a savory katsu sauce or a sweet miso caramel vegan ice cream with toffee sauce.

For plant-based options, Wagamama offers banana katsu waffles, while those craving bao buns can choose from bacon, sausage, vegan bacon, or vegan sausage fillings. The menu also features tempting sides like crispy corn fritters and flavorful bang bang hash browns, perfect for sharing.

To complement the food, Wagamama has curated a range of new drinks, including cocktails and mocktails. The breakfast in Tokyo, a refreshing papaya gin with blood orange and yuzu sherbet, topped with prosecco, is sure to be a hit. For those seeking a spicy kick, there’s the spicy mary, a Wagamama twist on the classic Bloody Mary, made with haku vodka, soy, teriyaki, and spices. Mindful mocktails like the fiery spiced plum, orange, and ginger juice, and an espresso coke with miso caramel vegan ice cream are also available.

Wagamama is partnering with London-based coffee brand Grind to serve lattes and americanos, and together they will be hitting the road with the ‘Grind bus’ come July. Continuing their collaboration with Jenki, Wagamama introduces delicious matcha latte and iced strawberry and matcha latte.

For a lighter option, the refreshing acai bowls with fresh fruit, toasted soya wow butter, and crunchy granola are a perfect choice. Creamy chia and coconut overnight oats topped with mandarin and sour cherry provide another nourishing alternative.

Kay Bartlett, chief marketing officer of Wagamama, stated, “We’ve seen an increase in consumer demand for an all-day dining offering and appetite for brunch dishes. This announcement is in response to that, and we’re thrilled to introduce our Wagamama take on brunch.” She added, “The decision to open our restaurants at 8.30am has involved a great amount of hard work and dedication from our brilliant teams and we’re all really proud and excited about this latest round of innovation and chapter in the Wagamama story.”
